Canon XSi

Well, I finally did it! I finally "pulled the trigger" and bought me a DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) camera. I did more research on cameras than I did buying a car. I bought the Canon XSi. Below, are the specs:

"Kit lens" (EF-S 18-55mm IS f/3.5-5.6)
Telephoto zoom lens (EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III) ($100 with purchase of camera)
4GB SDHC with USB reader
Bag for the camera (but, I returned the bag and ordered a Canon backpack from Amazon)
Polarized filter

I bought the 4-year warranty on the camera and kit lens. So far, I love it. It's very hard for me to put the camera down. Erin can't wait for the baby to take over as the center of all my photos. I've started taking profile photos of her belly every day from the same position. After the baby is born, I will make a "video" of the pictures in sequence to show the whole pregnancy in just a couple of minutes! I have seen this done before, and I think it is really neat.
