Erin got her glucose test results in and she came out a little high. Her levels were at 157. The cutoff for the first test is 140. So, then she had to go backin for a three hour test, where she ate something and then they drew blood every hour. We still haven't gotten these results yet. If she does have Gestational Diabetes, it's not real bad. Depending on the severity of it, she may have to be on a special diet, take medicine, or at the worst, take a shot daily. Details: if she has high levels of glucose (sugar), then the baby does too. This is because she is not producing enough Insulin, which breaks down sugars. Which could mean for a big baby, and/or the baby could be Hypoglycemic.
